A report by Auto Express has highlighted that a number of vehicles that are promoted as green for their low CO2 emissions may be anything but. The conclusions come after extensive testing of Brands including Honda, Lexus and Skoda who advertise vehicles that emit low levels of environmentally harmful emissions, yet that may that may have masked the truth.
Although the advertised figures are in line with tests that adhere to the governmental standards and are used as the industry benchmark, many of the cars marketed as being the greenest may not be when real world driving scenarios are applied.
